Etsy Banner Contest!!!

Good morning! How's your day been so far? I'm having a hard time peeling my eyes open this morning even after 2 cups of coffee! It's a sunny day so maybe some fresh air will do the trick.

I'm excited to announce a contest for all interested artists! Last Friday I mentioned that I'm collaberting with Amanda from Mockingbird on a project called "Art Walk 4 Kids". You can follow this link for more information. We are looking for an artist to do some pro bono graphic design work for us. Here are a few contest details:

~ We're looking for an artist/s to design an Etsy Banner, Blog Ad, Logo and possibly a Blogheader for this project.

~ The shop will feature the artwork of children in crisis who are ages 6-18 so the design should fit a wide age range. I love the idea of a banner that looks like a colorful collage, but feel free to come up with your own creative ideas. ;)

~ If you're interested in submitting your work, please send us a link to your shop and/or website, an example of an Etsy Banner (760 x 100 pixels), and any ideas you may have to Vicki at: artwalk4kids@gmail.com

~ This contest will run until this Sunday, May 2nd.. The artist who's chosen will be given credit for their work and also have a full-length feature on Simply Hue.

~ This is a pro bono project. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. :)

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

P.S. I haven't forgotten the "I Create" interview. I'm waiting for a few more photos and will post it later today....it will definitely be worth the wait!

*** UPDATE: I apologise, it looks the interview will need to wait until tomorrow or Thursday. I'll touch base with you about it in the morning. There are going to be some beautiful photos for you to drool over!

  1. Do you have to be a graphic artist to submit? What a great shop idea & purpose! Beth
