Pillows for Our New Home ......




Well, the day is finally here! Last night my husband and I moved to our condo in Kirkland, Washington. It's been a long time coming and I'm so excited to be here! Dale went back to our old home for a few days to tie up loose ends and I'll be staying here with our Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix), Bojangles. I slept so peacefully last night......

I just wanted to show you my very first purchase for our home. When my eyes landed on the shop, Homemaker Movement, I was instantly drawn to the quality, detail, and beauty of her pillows. Zahida, the talented seamstress who runs this shop, used an inspiration photo I had sent her (see the magazine photo in the second picture) to create these GORGEOUS pillow covers for me. I can hardly wait to receive them! The colors in the pillows will be my jumping off point when choosing our artwork and accessories. If I can take some decent photos of the interior of our condo, I'll be sure and post them on Simply Hue. :)
