New at West Elm
Well, what a great way to end the week. I was contacted by an Etsy administrator today to say that West Elm has chosen my shop along with five or ten other Seattle shops, to put up a display in their Seattle location on December 9. I can hardly believe it and am so excited!
Just four years ago I was working as an Optician and before that worked with people with Alzheimer's and students with learning disabilities. It was rare that I even found the time to be creative. During these years I was hit with a serious chronic illness, which just in the last year I found out was MS (Multiple Sclerosis) I never would have imagined the beautiful turn my life would take because of the hobby of photography I began as a therapeutic outlet. I am so very very thankful for all the beauty that's come out of some challenging situations.
I want to encourage you to dream big and be patient as life takes you down paths that don't seem to be heading in the direction of your creative goals. Squeeze in time whenever you can to be creative, write down your wildest dreams, and chip at them bit by bit.
Dreams do come true ......
Congratulations Vicki, that's great news!
