What Does it Need?

This is a photo I took today and edited this evening. Not sure if I like it. It's a little out of my comfort zone because it's not clear or colorful. I'm calling it "Yesterday's Gone" so that's why it's got that faded out look. I'm still not 100 percent happy with the results, though. Hmmm...this might be one that gets trashed! lol.

What do you think it needs?

  1. I don't know, I really like it! Maybe some burnt edges or something. I don't know :)

  2. I really love it to, but perhaps more of an aged tea background to create more of a contrast with the objects. I love the vintage bleached out look though x

  4. I feel like it needs more content in there. It feels too spacious to me. I love the muted colors and the idea!

  7. Would it work as a square? I like it, but I agree that maybe there's too much white space.

  8. Hum, I like it. And I like the subdued colors. And maybe If the eggs would be the same color as the flower you would like it better. But what do I know? ;)

  9. Don't change anything! It's always weird to do something you're not used to, but I love the subdued colors and the composition is great.

  11. Oh, it so beautiful. The soft colors gift it such a dreamy feel. So pretty. We are always our own harshest critics, aren't we?

  13. Scratchy texture and some shading on the edges to pull your eye in instead of around.
