With or Without a Frame?

Good morning. :) How was your weekend? We didn't do anything too exciting but I did enjoy a few hours to myself on Saturday wandering through Target (I even picked up a cardigan and a book!) and driving in the country with my "americano with sugar-free hazelnut and half-and-half" in hand. It was really refreshing and I needed to leave the house after being inside most of the week sick.

Would you mind letting me know which photo you prefer...the framed or the unframed version? This might be one of those images where there's no real preference, but I love hearing your opinions anyways. ;)

I'm still wiping the sleep out of my eyes but wanted to post this weeks Creative Challenge before the day got busy. I'm going out for lunch (Mexican) with my daughters in awhile and still need to get out of my yoga pants and thermal night shirt (don't I sound glamorous?) and into something presentable.

O.k., here's this weeks creative challenge!

GRATEFUL

Last weeks challenge took a little more thought on your part so I thought this week I'd keep it simple. In a nutshell, what are you thankful for in your life? It's easy to get caught up in negativity and self pity (guilty as charged), but there's always something we can be grateful for. For the challenge you can photograph something you're thankful for, draw it, collage it or even journal it. Keep it as simple or as complex as you would like and most of all, have fun! :)

  5. With the frame. It makes it look more finished in my opinion. Love it either way though!

  9. With the frame...it's subtle enough to not take away from the image.

  13. I feel bad going against the majority, but I really love it without. Much more raw and beautiful. Let's you appreciate it for what it is.

  15. The frame seems to take away from the beauty of the object and makes the "potential" simplicity of the picture too busy. Without the frame!
