It's been quite some time since I've held the
Artist Spotlights but I'm excited to start this feature up again! If you're an artist, photographer, or designer please send me a link to your shop, blog, and website at matissecolor@gmail.com. I'll announce the featured artists next Wednesday!
P.S. Do you prefer this photo framed or unframed? Needing your suggestions once again. ;)
I love your artist spotlights. Always so inspirational - not that your site could ever be anything BUT inspirational ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jan. :0)
ReplyDeleteCame back to let you know I linked you up, even though you dropped the out of your comfort zone challenge. It stuck with me ;)
ReplyDeleteI think it lokks better unframed.
ReplyDeleteunframed! :)
ReplyDeletei'm not legit enough to be featured now, but i hope in the future to grace a post on your wonderful blog!
Hmm...unframed. It makes the image open up.
ReplyDeletePretty colors and I really like that circle pattern in the background.
yeah unframed. for sure.
ReplyDeletewish i had something to share for the feature...mine are just all hobbies :o)
Hehee... I like unframed too. Seems to be the consensus, so far. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend everyone.
ReplyDeleteI must admit I didn't at first notice any difference, was wondering why you posted the same image twice :D But now that I read it and see the difference, I think I prefer the framed.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more artist spotlights!
I like this one unframed.
ReplyDeleteDepending on where you put it: it looks nice unframed on your white background in single perspective. But when combined with other pictures/images: I would say framed, to put more emphasis on the beautiful light pastel colours. I am looking forward to the artist-thing!
ReplyDeleteI could see the framed one looking great as a canvas but I love the clean lines of the unframed one ; ) Both are beautiful
ReplyDeleteLove these artist spotlights!!! And - I think you should frame it!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking foward to the artist spotlights...so lovely of you to encourage creativity like this.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like framed better too.
I can't really make up my mind if I like the framed or unframed better. Each one has something I like. Decisions... decisions...

Hello!!! Look who's here on a weekend? :) I prefer it without a frame! :) I always do, I guess... And by the way, that Call for Artists seems to be really really an excellent idea!! Have a great weekend, my friend! Twiggs
ReplyDeleteI have my vote in for framed!
ReplyDeleteOoh - LOVE this! THe colors are perfect together! I love the framed version (and would LOVE to see how it looks with the chartreuse as a frame - probably too much, but I'm addicted to chartreuse right now...!)
ReplyDeleteu n f r a m e d :)
ReplyDeleteFrame it :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!! (without the frame)
ReplyDeleteframed. I like the finality encompassing "I create" and the sureness of that.
