Artist ~ Lisa from The Lunchbox Project
Her Shop ~ The Lunchbox Project, Her Vintage Shop ~ Flea Parlor, Her Blog ~ The Lunchbox Project
"Money or no money, I realized pretty young that I could have whatever I wanted with pencil in hand. My love of flowers, animals, food, and just pretty things in general could be recreated on paper with the swipe of a pen or paintbrush. My family's lack of material wealth stretched my creativity daily, while I found challenge in making new things out of what I had at bay.
These experiences still shape my art today as I find joy in the simplicity of everyday objects and the challenges in creating something new from something seemingly common.
My desire to create led me to earn both my bachelor and master of landscape architecture at Iowa State University. Though I get off track at times, I'm attempting to write a new kind of foodie book."
