Designer ~ Denis from La Camelot
Her Shop ~ La Camelot
"I’ve been sewing for many years. I started embroidering with beads for the past 6 years. In my designs all beads and embellishments are securely hand sewn with invisible stitching, for years of enjoyment, making them beautiful Heirloom quality pieces exquisitely finished and hand detailed by me.
Each creation is unique, based on my current inspiration, as I don’t use patterns or set guides. Generally I start beading and embroidering a piece of textile not knowing how I will use it… Many times it’s put away until I can envision it incorporated into a full design to create an intended effect.
My inspiration comes from the opulence of kings, queens and royalty, the whimsy and fantasy of fairies as well as from earlier Romantic eras. Due to my Father's work, as a child I lived in many parts of Europe such as Italy, France and Spain. These countries rich in art were my greatest teaching and inspiration."
Please enjoy my work,
xo La Camelot

ReplyDeleteSo lovely and feminine, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis jewelry does look like it was made for royalty...exquisite! I think it's so great how she stated that she often just begins working on a piece not knowing how she'll use it. Sometimes beginning is the hardest...maybe I should do this more often. ♥
