Featured Artist ~ Kelsey McCracken
Her Shop ~ A New Perspective
"Creativity and art have been part of my life as long as I can remember. I love painting, photography, reading, writing, color, drawing, and music.
My work reflects who I am and what I love. In a sense, a part of me is in each piece I create. I'm excited to share my perspective with you.
My work has been featured on Simply Hue and Lovely Clusters
'I'd like to add some beauty to life. I don't exactly want to make people know more...though I know that is the noblest ambition, but I'd love to make them have a pleasanter time because of me. To have some little joy or happy thoughts that would never have existed if I hadn't been born.' L. M. Montgomery

ReplyDeleteThese illustrations are lovely. I really like that they're done on book pages and that the words that have been highlighted add so much to the paintings.

ReplyDeleteThe colors are warm, the subjects, interesting
and draws on "in"..

So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKelsey - your work here is so warm and inviting. I am particularly drawn to the portrait of the young girl reading. It is absolutely stunning. I also visited your etsy store, and look forward to seeing more of your work.

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful work. I love the old world feel of the vintage text.
ReplyDeleteI like so much the atmosphere in your illustrations. Smells like old book pages.. A different view.. I like a lot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful illustrations! I really like the girl reading. The yellow dress and the red/brown of her hair really work well against the book background.
ReplyDeleteI love how you use book pages as back grounds, it adds so much to your work.
