Colorful Images by Corrie Bond

Corrie Bond has to be one of my absolute favorite photographers. Her images are classic, romantic, and altogether beautiful (in my opinion, atleast). She uses soft GRAY BLUES, pastel PINKS & YELLOWS, and light and airy shades of GREEN. Because the COLORS in her photos are toned down, they have a soft and feminine appearance.

Suddenly I want to change out of my yoga pants and t-shirt and put on a billowy skirt and sheer top and lay in a field of flowers. ;)

How about you? What feelings or memories do Corrie Bond's photos conjure up for you?

  1. I LOVE the one in the car with the red interior. I'd share some traveling memories, but I never look that polished when I'm on the go (but I wish I did).

  3. I love these vintage styled pictures! They remind me of scenes from a classic black and white movie.

  4. I've seen a few of these and yes they do make you want to get dressed up all pretty. I've been thinking lately though. I see alot of pictures that are muted or blurred or look like they have been in one of those old photo albums with the sticky acid pages for too long. They are on about every blog I see including my own or for sale on etsy. I do really like looking at them too, but I was thinking that sometimes there are so many and I just want to get back to bright colors and what we normally see with our naked eyes. Is this a trend? What are so many people attracted to this look of photographs? Anyway just food for thought. Great post.

  6. I know what you mean, Melissa. I've recently gotten into photography and prefer my images more clear and rich. Like you, I appreciate the blurry look in others photos, though. I wonder if it is kind of a trend. Hmmmm......
