Virtual Visit To Anthropologie
Images by Elena 777
Am I the only one who has never stepped into an Anthropologie store? I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but it's true. Well, here's the next best thing.....a virtual visit to the Anthropologie outlet in Seattle. Seriously, I need to make it a goal to get to Seattle to see all of this BEAUTY and COLOR in person. :) I love Anthropologie's clothing and decorating line and would love to be a guest in a home decorated in their style, but my own home has more EARTH TONES, fewer patterns, and would be considered "modern rustic". What about yours?

Never been to an Anthropologie? You need to remedy that ASAP!
ReplyDeleteLol. I'm planning on it now, Amy! :)
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with Amy!! You must get to a store. I was just there last weekend. Although I can't afford most things, it gives me an inspiration boost.
ReplyDeleteMy first time was just a few months ago and definitely worth the trip! Our store in MN has a pretty good sale section too, so that's where I head to first thing!
ReplyDeleteNeither have I, but I have a decent excuse. We just got the FIRST one in our state this passed April/May. Still haven't been yet, but we know how motherhood can certainly postpone a shopping trip. Ah, one can dream though...
ReplyDeleteAn Anthropologie just opened up close to where I live. I'm so excited! It will definitely be more inspirational to visit it than anything, though, since most of their items are priced beyond my budget.
ReplyDeleteIt's seriously a treasure trove of eye candy!
I didn't know about Anthro OUTLETS. Oh my. Is Seattle the only one? Hope you get to one soon, it's such a sweet escape.
ReplyDeleteI guess I just used the word "outlet" to mean "store". Sorry about confusing you, Jess! ;)
ReplyDeletePerhaps worse, I live only two blocks from Anthropologie in Chicago and have only been once in two years. I must change that after looking at these beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dottie......you made me feel better. ;) It's easy to take things for granted when they're right next door!
ReplyDeleteAnthropologie is a very dangerous store to be in. It is much safer to look at it from afar. Whenever I went into the Anthro store in Portland I really had to try to focus and make my way to the sale section all the way in the back. It was very difficult. I know what you are saying about the style. Even if I could afford their furniture I don't know if I could pull it off in my own home.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteI live in Australia and I have been to Anthropologie on many occasions!
It's one of the things I'm most looking forward to having access to when I move.
I still won't have one in Vancouver, so you need to get there now in my honour!
Amanda, how about we meet at the Seattle Anthro. (and buy nothing because of the prices. lol. ) and then go to lunch at Pikes' Place? Better yet, we'll have your friend Myla Kent join us! ;)
ReplyDeleteNice hearing from you, Rachel. :)
:( I've never been into an Anthropologie store either!!! Gahh.. I'm so deprived. Hah. Seriously though, I could spend hours in a store that looks like that!! Inspiration overload.
ReplyDeleteDepends on my current obsessions, I'm afraid... But I try to spend as little money as possible - so I'm almost glad we don't have Anthro in Norway. If we did, I'd be in trouble!
ReplyDeletehehe sounds like a plan, Vicki.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I can't not spend when I'm in there.
You don't have to buy the clothes..in fact, I have only bought housey things like tea towels, aprons and bathroom accessories.
Oh I love this! And if you don't believe how much I love this, you need to check this out:
