My Dream Home.....


I've finally decided on a decorating plan for our new home! I actually cut these images out of a House Beautiful magazine months ago and had them in my color inspiration notebook. Since we're moving into a condo. near Lake Washington in August, I've been thinking about having an ocean/water theme. I love the soft muted colors, the rustic decor, and the textured pillows, and earthy appeal in the above rooms. It will take some time to aquire all of our new furniture and we're on a strict budget, so I'm going to have to be industrious, but I'm really excited to finally have a plan!

    And your own photographic work will fit in perfectly :-) I love the colours and concerning the furniture: it's nice to search for the perfect chairs, table, sofa, etc. without pressure ... The nicest and most original and personal combinations arise from a search 'à l'aise' ...

    I love the color palette, it remind me of my own new house theme, its also all natural color, grey and aqua blue. I really hope things goes well with your progress of moving house, mine is a bit chaotic haha...

    Hi Fenny! Nice to know we have the same color scheme. :) Congrats on your new home!

    Contant, I've just been doing it on Picnik.com It's not that easy, honestly. I choose "sticker" and then a square shape and change the colors to get the exact tone I'm looking for. I have a feeling Photoshop has a much easier method of doing this. lol.
