The Amazing Girl Hula!
Since my kids' already think I'm a hippy, I thought it was about time I posted a few photos from one of my favorite photographers, Girl Hula. Her images bring me back to the early 60's (I was born in '63) and make me miss those days of VW vans, colorful signs, and bell-bottom jeans. If you haven't seen her work before and you're a hippy-at-heart, you'll want to spend some time browzing. You might even leave singing an old Beattle's song. ;)
P.S. How do you like the hippy music playing in the background? Have to make this post authentic!

really pretty photos. i agree, they take you back in time- back to a time that felt so simple & carefree. thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletehey, vicki...i've been poking around on your blog for a couple minutes now and i must say...i am Really enjoying this good background music! i love every song.
ReplyDeletebut even more relevant to your post :) i'll say that i am not a child of the 60's, but of the 81's but i love vw vans, bell-bottoms, and colorful signs. lol.
surprisingly, the effects of the 60s are still around. for example when i was in high school, i wore my mom's bell bottom jeans from the attic storage, drove all around town in my cousin's VW clunker and stopped at any and every thrift store with a colorful sign :) thanks for the post and for sharing the pics. i really enjoyed them, especially the little flower on that bicycle. what little girl wouldn't want that?!
Ahhhh, I love Andrea's work. I could stare at this page all day. :) Tammy Lee Bradley of www.mortalmuses.com and www.blissandfolly.com
