Out of My Comfort Zone

Good morning! Monday already? Hope you're feeling positive about the new week and that it's a good one for you. :) It's very drizzly and dreary here in Seattle, but I'm sure the sun will show it's face at some point this week.

Tomorrow I hope to be back and posting the artist spotlights (I'll also announce this weeks creative challenge) but today I just wanted to pop in and show you my newest photo. It's not very retro and a little out of my comfort zone but it was fun to try something new and different.

What have you done that's a little out of your comfort zone lately? Please leave a comment or a link and I'll be sure and visit your blog. :)

See you tomorrow! xo

  2. I tried listening to folksy, acoustic music which I didn't think I would like, but I did. (Thanks very much for your lovely playlist!)

    I wrote a letter to a long-lost friend.

    I read Shakespeare.

I started a project called the Thanks Given Project. Please join in and tell what you are thankful for! (http://seeingbeauty.wordpress.com/2010/11/10/the-thanks-given-project/)

  3. I think it's a lovely image. As to being out of my comfort zone lately: I have been learning photography this year and I was asked to take Senior pictures. For money! I said yes. I can't believe it. Still, the experience has been great.

  4. I love the photograph, gorgeous and elegant.

Everything I've done this week has been out of my comfort zone!! I'm moving across the country next week so I've been *gasp* on the phone with brokers, shippers, and packers. I'm not a phone gal (makes me nervous) so all the logistical planning has made me go into the "red zone" a bit.

And to think there's just more to come as I move to a new place.....

    Yikes!

  5. That rose is stunning against the music sheets! Haven't really tried anything overly different lately! Maybe I will be inspired this week!
