I love old barns and thought this one had a lot of character with the old rustic fence and charming row of windows. It was fun playing with the tones from more vintage 60's colors to a gray/sepia.
Anyways, if you don't already know this about me, I take alot of country drives. They help me unwind and de-stress, especially this time of year with all the beautiful Fall colors! When I take these drives I'm on the hunt for run down barns...newly painted ones just won't do. They have to be old, worn, and full of character. I have an entire set on Flickr dedicated to old barns and buildings. They make such interesting subjects to photograph!
Anyways, nothing too special...just thought I'd post these just in case you're a barnlover, too. ;) Have a great weekend friends! xo

ReplyDeleteLove love LOVE the old barn. I went on one of "those" drives recently and found the most beautiful meadow with the sun just slipping down below the treeline. It was like finding a living golden treasure. Fabulous blog, btw, Vicki.
