Hi there! In conjunction with Jeanette Lund from Fryd Design, I'm offering a GIVEAWAY of one of my prints. All you need to do is visit my shop and write a comment about which print you would like to win and why. :) You can leave your comment here, under the post below (the one that talks about Fryd2 Magazine), or even on Jeanette's blog....we're not picky. ;) I'll announce the winner next Friday!
I love all your photographs. One of my favorites is your "Sew in love" photograph...it is hard to choose.
ReplyDeleteVicki your work is beautiful! I spent ages looking at that page in 2Fryd so am delighted that you are offering a give-away. I have fallen in love with the Blue Collage... I have a vintage fan just like that one (it came from a 1950s hair salon in Paris) and I have been making big changes in my life one day & one step at a time & so the quote is perfectly apt! Thanks x
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the Paris collage.
ReplyDeleteI would put it above our bed, because it was Paris were my husband and I met...
xxx
I love the colouring of all of them...beautiful and nostalgic. There would be many many fitting ones (some of the carousels for example, as a reminder of all those childhood weekends at the fair), but I'm choosing the HOPE print.
ReplyDeleteOld typewriters are a sort of hidden obsession for me. I remember sitting at my grandparents house, working away at my grandpa's old machine. I was crazy about it! Sadly, I don't know where it has gone to. My grandaunt has another one or two - I hope I can rescue at least one of them before it disappears.
Also, I love writing (as could be imagined with a kid that spent its afternoons in the country sitting at an old typewriter...). This print would remind me not to give up when something doesn't work out right away. :)
Thanks so much for this beautiful giveaway!
Oh Vicki, you know that I loooove all of them! How can I pick only one?!!!! Ok, I know - I have to choose, so... I love "Circle of Roses" - you know my passion to old cameras :) or maybe "Love Life Unconditional" because I'm in like in this phrase, and thise baloons!!! And I'm in love with your last photo - "Sew in love", it's so love&merry :)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love... I hope I win...
Vicki I just found your lovely blog through Fyrd Design. You have so many beautiful prints in your shop it's hard to choose just one! The "Blue Collage" is one of my many favorites because it's like getting four for one. I'm also redecorating my house in blues and whites so this would go perfectly!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is Magic Moment A Girl Thing. I love the colours, the nostalgic feel as well, I love birds. The girl in the image has escaped her cage and is beginning her journey of freedom. All your work is so beautiful Vicki and thank you for this give-away!
ReplyDeleteI love Just the Two of Us! It would be perfect for my husband's and my 'love nest'! All of the pictures are very beautiful though! It was hard to choose a favorite!
ReplyDeletewoot, thanks!!! My favourite is the yellow and aqua collage... is that cheating??? because I really couldn't narrow it down to just one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful feeling there is to all of your prints! I really liked Journey - it would be nice to look at it while I'm making dinner in my kitchen, all through the dark winter - a lovely trigger for dreams of days to come!
ReplyDeleteOh well...this is easy enough! Considering I ADORE ALL of your creations....but, then you ask me to narrow down to ONE!?! That is the difficult part. Today I am lovin the DREAM, sky print! Because I dream. A lot. And I day dream....and that print just jumped out at me the most. Keep up the fantastic stuff lady! And thanks for the chance to win!!!
ReplyDeleteYour art works are all gorgeous, Vicki. I like anything aqua in particular.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your giveaway and the weekend >^_^<
oh wow, what a great blog you have. I need to be here for a while to take a look at everyting :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the print called "Sweet Days", though it was not easy to choose. I love everything on it and the colors.
Vicki - I love your artwork, every single individual piece. I could buy them all. But for me, the choice is simple. 'You are loved'...because while I had heard the words 'I love you' many times, and in many different situations before, I had never heard this, until a gorgeous man said them to me two years ago, just before asking me to marry him. He says those words to me regularly now, to me and our 9 month old son. I am blissfully happy, and HE is very much loved.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE "one day at a time"
ReplyDeleteMe and my lovely john got married 4 months ago. Our wedding had turquise here and there. my pantyhose, his jacket, some button in my hairdecoration were turquise- its our color :) and we love wordgames. it would be a perfect help in getting into place in our home. kram!
I love Ferris Wheel. It would add a bit of cheer to one of my walls, for sure!
ReplyDeleteThe Sweet Days print...wow, that was hard. I changed my mind several times while typing this :-)
ReplyDeleteI love all of your prints, so it was really hard to deside! But I have an empty place in my kitchen and "Baking Day A GIRL THING SERIES number 2" would fit perfect :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!

Hey Vicki, through FRYD I found out about your blog. You are the next catch when it comes to beautiful pictures! Of course I checked your etsy, and would like to participate. If I may choose, it would be BLUE collage. From top left to bottom right: I am learning to enjoy one day at a time; since life was a rollercoaster last year due to my health condition; but now the sun comes through every day a little bit more; and I can feel the fresh wind blowing in my life again. Thank you for offering this give away!
ReplyDeletecongratulations on the wonderful feature! my absolute favorite photo is 'basket of tulips' because it represents happiness & freedom. enjoy your weekend! thanks to you both!
ReplyDeleteOh! Vicki great idea! My favourite are "buttons" and "retro in the sky" ! Enjoy weekend!

ReplyDeleteWhy? besides, the fact that it's a stellar print that I LOVE!, I need the reminder sometimes :)
Yay, I would love to win!! It is so hard to pick just one...I would chose "just the two of us" or "bon vonyage"...love them all!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity; as they are all lovely in their own way, it's hard to choose one. My chose fell on "Best Friends", which I would give to my little daughter who loves doll, old postcards and everything nostalgic. She's just 22 months old :)
ReplyDeleteA whole lot of lovely on 4 pages!
ReplyDeleteI love the Journey print
Thank you!
I love the "Journey" print, it reminds me of old times when we where on many journeys when we where childrens. I hope i win, even if i live i Denmark. ;0)
ReplyDeleteOH, tough decisions! I think my favorite it VINTAGE PINK b/c I really want a pink beach cruiser bike for Christmas this year. This photo may be as close as I get to owning one, though - lol. Thanks for the opportunity to win. All of your prints are beautiful!! xo

ReplyDeleteI would love to win the "One Day at a Time" print because that's something I really need to tell myself everyday
ReplyDeleteId love to win the Paris Collage print. It was hard to choose just one!
ReplyDeleteHi there --- I have loved your work for ages! It's so hard to pick. But, I think I would go with HOPE. I'm a writer and sometimes all you do have is HOPE that the words will come.
ReplyDeleteFun giveaway! :) I can't decide which I'd choose if I won but it would have to be between one of these two:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.etsy.com/listing/53007068/bon-voyage
http://www.etsy.com/listing/55915088/paris-collage
Ooh, all prints are beautiful! If I have to choose, I´ll pick Storybook Window.
ReplyDeleteSuch inspiring colors..and I love how you've grouped these all together like this. Very creative!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd - I have to comment again..after visiting your shop. My favorites are the girl series...and my favorite of them is the girl with the guitar. But - in truth- all of them are simply wonderful. Such gorgeous colors!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is hard because I love them all!! But if I had to choose I'd say the birdcage or the journey print. I love all things vintage and either of these would look great in my bedroom! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteorr20004@msn.com
I'd pick "Fair Ride in Aqua." We had bed bugs this summer and had to throw out a good third of our stuff. I took advantage of the excuse to re-do the bedroom in lovely shades of blue, but I could really use some more "pretties" to finish reclaiming my home.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are all stunning, but if I had to choose one it would be "Circle of Roses". My Hebrew name means rose, and I am obsessed with photography!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win "Dream".
ReplyDeleteHello dear friend!!! This is very sweet of you!!! And I personally would love a print from my talented friend! It is hard to choose one, but I would love to have "Storybook Window", just because I am always looking for storybook windows as well... :) Have a delicious week!!! We will talk later! Twiggs
ReplyDeleteI'd pick VW Collage.. VW LOVE !
ReplyDeleteI have just mulled over your work for the last fifteen minutes and realised that I will never be able to chose my favourite, but "hope" is getting my vote. Such a beautiful picture....so fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteI cant give you a valid reason other than I love it :)
i LOVE the "Pink and White" umbrella...because it makes me happy by looking at it:)
ReplyDeleteOh my.... That was soooo hard to do. I LOVE your style. If I had to choose it would be Red, White and Blue....or Pink Umbrella.... Or.... Goodness....see...it's toooo hard.
ReplyDeleteWarm blessings,
Spencer
Way too many to choose from! :) Maybe at the moment I'd say Cotton Candy, because it's so sweet and the colors are delicious :)
ReplyDeleteOh so exciting! And difficult to chose. But I guess I've always really liked Circle of Roses. Hope all is well with you Vicki and that you had a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeletexo Mary Jo
Hi Vicki, I have seen your prints also earlier in Etsy and I like them! I would like to have print "Celebrate", cause those occasions we never have enough!
ReplyDeleteI love them all!
ReplyDeletemy favourite now is "Birdcage" because love the colours and the cage. And the fact that is empty :)
I have been trying to decide between these 4 for so many weeks now. Can't believe you are doing a giveaway. Love it!
ReplyDeletePink and White Umbrella
Fair Ride in Aqua
Up High
Journey
I don't expect to win the giveaway since I'm oversea. But I can't help to pick one too... Not that it's easy coz all your prints are so amazing!! My favorite is "Snip and Sew". It'll be perfect for my daughter's bedroom...:)
ReplyDeleteIf I had a girl, there'd be no choosing for me. Too many sweet things to pick from... but I think my first "favorite" of yours (Love Life Unconditionally) would be my pick. For the simplest of reasons, I just love the print! But also, the 'Love Life Unconditionally' really just pulls at something inside of me. Having been through a pretty traumatic childhood (abandonment, abuse of several forms... I'll spare details because this isn't about me), I find that I'm always looking for the bright-side, the silver lining - because without that I'm not sure that I'd be a functional member of society today. Through more than my share of sadness and hurt though, I've made it through because I learned to love life, unconditionally. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Vicki!
ReplyDelete"Sew in Love" would look perfect in my study, so I'm crossing everything I have to win that one. I find your blog so very inspiring, and your prints are all gorgeous.
All the best,
Solvi
I love the Icecream collage- it's pink, whimsical and oh so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Vicky, Love your prints.
ReplyDeleteAs i have a Bug from ´74 my self, it would have been natural to choose the Bug with the rainbow, as it is a funny and smiling print. But my situation right now, attracs me to the Print with the text "One day at a time" I really hope to win this print. Thank you for an inspiring blog.
Regards Johanne
hello vicki!
ReplyDeletei would choose the "blue collage" . my son has autism & sometimes i need a reminder to take it "one day at a time". also, he loves fans so this photo would make him happy too. the color is very soothing as well. thanks for the opportunity:)
What a great idea Vicki. My favourite is Just the Two of Us.
ReplyDeleteMy two favorites are "One Day at a Time" and the one with the typewriter that spells out "hope" because they are very inspiring and comforting to me right now.
ReplyDeleteI am currently going through a huge trial/struggle and when i saw those it made me stop, take a breath and take comfort in not only the words, but in the beauty that surrounds them.
I love "Fair Ride in Aqua" I´d love to do a fair ride in those colors...
ReplyDeleteWowww that is a difficult one. I love many of your prints... By my absolute favorites are:
ReplyDelete# Sew in love
# I create
# A Gentle Reminder
# Hope
I am probably a little late ... still trying :)
ReplyDeleteI would definitely say this lovely print of your artwork, even if I must confess I have had the hardest time ever, picking a favorite !!
