No...it can't be Friday already! That's fine with me, though. I'm looking forward to seeing a play at a theater in Seattle with my husband tomorrow. I have an MRI in the morning that I'm not so thrilled about, but I know I'll survive. ;)
I wanted to let you know that I'm thinking seriously about having a feature here on Simply Hue where I post a "weekly artistic challenge". It would have a theme (say for example "Cupcakes"). As an illustrator you could draw a cupcake, as a media artist you could do a collage of cupcakes, as a photographer you could photograph a cupcake, and as a designer you could design a necklace with a cupcake pendant, etc. These are just examples but I know for sure that I would want to include every art form, not only illustrations.
Here's how it would work:
~ I would post a theme. (example: cupcakes)
~ You would use your talent to draw, photograph, collage, or design a piece of art using the weekly theme.
~ You would leave a link in the comments section to your blog/website/flickr with an image of your work so that other artists can click on the link and see what you're up to.
~ I would choose 3-5 images to post here on Simply Hue on a weekly basis.
So, what do you think? Any ideas you would like to add?

Sounds great! I participate in the Miss Match diptych project if you've ever heard of it? They come up with weekly pairings and themes and it's a lot of fun.
