Good morning...how's your week been so far? Honestly, mine has held some real challenges. If you think of me, please say a prayer for our family. There have been some situations this week that I never thought we would have to deal with. I'm trying to keep positive because I believe there's a reason for everything, but it's been a little tough. Thankyou for letting me be real with you. That was one of my goals this year as a blogger....to be a "real person" on my blog. To not only share the fun and the beautiful, but also the difficult things. It's way easier to stuff these things inside and not share them, but that's not the person I want to be. I want to be authentic and genuine, even if that means revealing the "not so pretty stuff". ;)
Anyways, on to the winner of last week's GIVEAWAY. Drumroll please....the winner of the Volume 25 GIVEAWAY is Tina Jo! Yay, Tina!!! I'll be contacting you soon with more information.
I also want to announce a new GIVEAWAY from the very talented Lynda Naranjo (please see more of her photos below). Lynda is offering the above print to one fortunate winner. Just leave comments for the artists today through next Thursday. I'll announce the winner next Friday. :)
Before I close, I wanted to encourage you to drop by tomorrow. Kim Klassen will be sharing a message from her heart for our new series, ART TALK. If you're looking for encouragement from another artist, you'll want to hear what she has to say.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day today friends! xoxo

ReplyDeleteHi Vicki, Linda's photo is beautiful. My grandparents had those flowers at the front of their house when I was a kid. Every time I see these flowers I'm reminded of the wonderful times I spent with my family during my early childhood. Amazing how one image can evoke so much happiness! Hope you and yours are doing okay... Love the idea of 'honest blogging'! xx
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day, too.
ReplyDeleteThnx, Ms. McGarves. It's kind of a leap going from just posting pretty things to putting your heart out there. lol. You are all so great, though, and make it easy. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of your comments!
Sending good wishes your way!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm new to this blog - and totally love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm sending positive energy your way - I know family things can be tough. I've been through all the ups and downs with my family - but things always seem to work out how they were supposed to, even if it doesn't seem it will at the time =).
Hang in there! Of her artwork, I love the Tiny Stars photograph.
ReplyDeleteI agree stay positive! Keep smiling even if you don't feel like it, they say you can fool the brain into thinking that you are happy! Crazy I know but it works for me :) Ooh, beautiful things! My mom would love this print!
