********************

A couple of months ago I featured Sara from Paper and Cloth on Simply Hue. Recently, when I posted a Call for Artists, Sara submitted a website called A Drawing Project. A Drawing Project is:

: a derivative of the concept of a drawing a day
: a collaborative of seven
: sharing one drawing a day
: discovering what can unfold
: a vehicle to connect with each other and reconnect with drawing

I'm excited about the idea of drawing a picture a day (or even a picture a week would be great at this point!). What about you? Should we make this a goal and then come back to Simply Hue and leave a link to our latest drawings or artistic project(s)? Let me know if you're interested in participating in something like this and I'll get the ball rolling. :)

Have a great Tuesday! xo

  1. I would love to have a place to come back with a drawing a day... Hmmm, maybe a drawing a week sounds more realistic.
Lovely post, the images are beautiful.

  2. Thanks for your input, Anka. :) A drawing a week sounds more realistic for me, too.

  3. I've been trying to do this, to revive my sketching that I used to do. But I'm making myself do it with an ink pen and colored pencils which throws in a little twist. So I think it would be wonderful to have a place to share our pictures a day.

  7. Have you talked with adrawingproject to see if they would be interested in expanding their collaborators? I'm not sure how unwieldy it would get, but it's a cool idea, they have it running and I would love to participate. I think I even know one of the women from school.
