Her Shop ~ Ollie Bollen, Her Shop ~ Trisha Brink Design And another one! ~ Wesley Asher, Her Blog ~ Trisha Brink Design Her Brick and Mortar Shop ~ Grandiflora Home and Garden
"Hi there! Welcome to my shop. I'm honored to have you, and hope you enjoy your time here. Since you're here, sit down, relax awhile and let me tell you a little bit about myself...
As an Interior Designer, Home and Garden Retail shop owner, Wife, and Mother I don't have much time to craft....but I can't seem to help myself!
Crafting is my therapy. You'd think that helping people beautify their homes all day long would exhaust me of the desire to create, but no such luck. Don't get me wrong, I love helping others achieve domestic bliss....but at the end of the day it is very sweet to work with things that I (and not just my client) love. I find comfort in creating something from nothing; it's instant gratification. (Meaning: I don't have to wait for the painters, upholsterers, or electricians to see my original design completed.)
Keeping my hands busy in the evening and on the weekends crafting, also gives me the excuse to go on trips into the beautiful Pacific Northwest for found objects and much inspiration. I craft with items from nature, and I also use recycled objects from Estate sales, Junk Markets, and Antique shops.
You will be able to see direct influences of God's Creation in all of my works; I give Him the glory for my wares.
I must admit that I sell on Etsy to support my Craft-Therapy. If I have buyers for my wares, then I can continue to craft more items...which in turn gives me much stress relief! Making money at what I sell is...well how shall I say this...let's just say, I do this to support my habit!"
