Call to Photographers, Designers, and Artists!

This morning I wanted to let you know about the new format for Simply Hue! I've been thinking about this for awhile and after getting your input last week, I've decided to use this blog as an avenue for talented photographers, designers, and artists to have the opportunity to have their work featured. I'm still working out the details, but at this time would love to have interested artisans send a link to their shop/website to me (Vicki) at matissecolor@gmail.com for consideration. If everything goes as planned, I'd like to begin the SPOTLIGHTS next Monday, March 15th. I'll be taking submissions from today (March 9th) through Friday (March 12)and will announce the winners this Sunday March 14th on Simply Hue. Don't worry if you miss this one... I plan on posting a "Call for Photographers, Artists, and Designers" on a monthly basis.

Here's what I know so far:

~ Spotlights will be held weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In all, I'll be featuring 9 talented artists a week.

~ Due to a chronic illness I have, there might be a week here and there where I'll need to postpone the Spotlight for a little while, but I'll do my darndest to be consistant! lol. Also, I "reserve the right" to mix things up every now and then with posts about color, style, decorating, and posts from guest bloggers. ;)

~ Also, I'd like to hold a GIVEAWAY weekly, so if you're interested in offering something please mention it in your email. :)

~ A "Call for Photographers, Designers, and Artists" will be posted monthly. I'll take submissions for one week and then won't accept submissions until the following month when the next announcement is made.
