Hello and Happy Monday! I hope the beginning of your week is going well so far. You never can tell with Mondays. ;) How was your weekend? Did you do anything nice for yourself? With Summer coming to a close, I tried to stuff in all the sunshine I could get. I took a two hour drive yesterday looking for that perfect thing to photograph. I didn't find it, but I sure enjoyed the drive. lol.
On Saturday my husband and I were volunteers for a historic home tour in Tacoma. On our way there I spotted the above sign "Sweet Things Cupcakes" and my husband pulled over for me to take a few photos. I'm not sure how he's liking my new enthusiasm for photography. It's becoming commonplace for me to shout out "Can we pull over so I can take a picture?!" For now, he's humoring me at least. ;) Anyway, it was the grand opening of this sweet, unique cupcake eatery and they were so gracious to allow me to take a few photos. It was everything you would imagine a cupcake shop should be.....PASTEL COLORS, PINK and WHITE striped umbrellas, and luscious looking cupcakes displayed on elegant pedestals. ReplyDeleteHoly cow do I ever love that there are shops dedicated to selling only cupcakes. We have two different shops here in town, and they are SO delicious. I'm just lucky they aren't located near my house or I would weigh as much as my house!

ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise to see a familiar sight. That cupcake shop is only about a mile from my house and I pass it on my way to work and have been waiting for it to open. I was out of town for their grand opening, but will definitely make a point of stopping in soon.
