Oh wow! So many beautiful prints to choose from. It's really hard to pick just one that I love! I think my most favorite one is the Apricots print. I think the color scheme is very nice and it would look lovely in my kitchen! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Thanks for the lovely giveaway opportunity! I have adored the apricots print for a long time, I think it would be perfect in my kitchen. Enjoy your beautiful day, I wish we were having nice weather in MN but it is unseasonably cold and raining :( but hopefully the sun will be out in time for the weekend!
ReplyDeleteAll of the prints are beautiful - so heavenly. "fine new portable" is divine. The image is wonderful - there are just so many interesting plays on patterns going on. The red wire and the red, worn card. The three very different fonts. And the position, the looking down, the moment before beginning to write.
ReplyDeleteOhh, they are all pretty. My favorite it the i love the carolina coast set, it reminds me of going to the beach at home. Great giveaway!
ReplyDeletehow dreamy and beautiful! I love "urban vintage"... how fun!
ReplyDeleteThey are ALL so beautiful, it's hard to pick just one. But since I have to, I think my favorite is "Droplets." It's beautiful, and it reminds me of that scene from "Singing in the Rain" when Gene Kelly realizes that he's in love with Debbie Reynolds. He's so happy, he doesn't even care that it's raining. I love that idea. Also, it reminds me of how I love to go outside in the rain and jump in puddles. As an "adult" I don't really get to anymore, so this picture would be a nice reminder to still be a child at heart!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images!! I love the clean simplicity of "dreaming". Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
ReplyDelete"open your heart"!! we just converted our dressing room into a baby room for our little girl, cassia, and this photo and its title express pretty perfectly what she means to us... would love to hang it above her crib. lovely!
ReplyDeleteVicki this is an awesome give away! I really love the vintage pink bike print! I just got my own office, the only bad thing is that it has no window! This would be the perfect print set me daydreaming! Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway ! I really like morning cup of beauty, it's fresh and simple and bright.
ReplyDeleteI think it's absolutely torture that we have to pick just one favorite! All of the prints are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBut, I guess if I want to participate in the giveaway, I should pick one...
I'll have to go with Apricots purely because I'm still needing something to hang on the big empty wall in my kitchen. The colors would coordinate so well!
Desiree, since I have you here would you mind sending me your email address so Ruche can e-mail your gift certificate? :) I feel bad you haven't received it yet! Just send it to matissecolor@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteGood luck everyone! Great answers so far. :)
Morning Cup struck me first. The light delicate hues and details on the blue tray are perfectly muted. And the red on those cherries! Scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteThe sense of white light coming through a window on your breakfast makes me think of birdies chirping and a nice cup of tea.
Haha if every morning looked like this, I'd gladly get up earlier on weekends!
Oh! What a beautiful giveaway Vicki! I love love love the print of the aqua collander with an orange in it--I could design a whole kitchen around that color palette!
ReplyDeleteOh my. They are all beautiful. I have no idea!!! I think it has to be Apricots because it would match my kitchen perfectly and I do love apricots. ; )

It is so very hard to chose just one favorite. I love all of her work. Each image evokes so much emotion & transports me to a particular place in my soul! I think I'd love the morning cup of cherries because i love the colors, i love cherries, i love the vintage feel..can picture being on the porch with my beloved gramma when she was living. Rest her soul! :)
ReplyDeleteShe is such a talented artist! Each one of her images is capable of attending to a memory/emotion/fantasy. My favorite piece has to be 'bicycle charm of charleston' (the set). It reminds me of child hood. I have two brothers and we were always big on bicycles because it seems we would always get a new one for Christmas... or rather, one we thought was new. We never knew this growing up, but we were pretty poor, and so my parents would find old bicycles at Goodwill, spray paint them, add some stickers and a basket, and have them waiting for us on Christmas morning. We never knew the difference. This picture reminds me of the 'new' bicycles that myself and my brothers would ride until the frames fell apart. Sweet memories :)
ReplyDeleteI would *LOVE* to own the print "Apricots" because of the textures and colors in the image. The apricots are such a brilliant orange that perfectly compliments the blue of the colander. And the smooth texture and holes in the colander make me almost feel what it would be like to touch them in real life. It feels good just to look at this image. It's all fuzzy and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI can only pick one? Geez that is so hard! Um.... I am going to say "softly ever after" is my favorite. Her work is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI would love the softly ever after set!! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteMORNING CUP print, without a doubt! Cherries are not only my favorite fruit, but they also bring back a plethora of childhood memories that I cherish. And I am in the planning stages of opening a business where cherries are my main inspiration.
ReplyDeletebeautiful, beautiful, photography!
definitely would like "morning cup of beauty" - I love flowers and roses - it's such a happy image to wake up to and it will certainly brighten my mornings

no question about it--my favorite is "collect your thoughts"... it was one of my first Flickr faves! what an exciting contest and a generous offer re: shipping!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Apricots photo. Like the others have said- it would be perfect for the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI adore all of the photos! I think my favorite is "collect your thoughts." I love vintage typewriters, and they always remind me of my childhood. I love the style of the photo, its vintage appeal, and mostly the soft and delicate colors. It's a great inspiration for my bedroom, which I will be redesigning in a month!!
ReplyDeletewhat a tough decision. i've looked at the prints over and over again trying to choose my favorite and i just love them all. i'd be happy to have any of them especially since I recently became a first time home owner and i'd like to decorate my new home with items i love...not hand-me-downs or stuff that was on sale or found at a garge sale. i love them all but if i had to choose just one i think i would go with morning cup. i just love how the bright red cherries pop right out of all that soft color. they seem so bright and friendly.
ReplyDeleteI love the apricots photo! It would look so beautiful in my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteOh, there are so many beautiful images in Garbrielle's collection! I love the soft colors and rough vintage feel. If I had to choose one, I'd go with "fine new portable." I've recently become a little obsessed with vintage typewriters, so I would choose this image first, and then maybe create a little vignette on the wall in my office with one or two of her other typewriter prints. They're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love all of them! But my favourite has always been Collect your thoughts, I always imagine the words coming from the sea to be beautifully written with that typesetter... Dreamy!
ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose! But I'd want either dreaming or apricots.
ReplyDeleteSoftly Ever After set - for sure. although they are all super dreamy!
ReplyDeletewowowow! i want the 8 x 8 print "blush" or one of the "i love the carolina coast" set. "blush" would look perfect on my bedroom wall - feminine and delicate yet still has a modern appeal.
ReplyDeletethe "i love the carolina coast" set is gorgeous! they almost looks like lomography. i love lofi work, and gabrielle clearly makes great use of her argus!
As much as I love Apricots and Hot Summer Day, I would have to go with Open Your Heart. We just redid my daughter's room in these two colors, so this would be absolutely perfect.
ReplyDeleteI like "dreaming"--there's just something about it!
