  1. Vicki this is such an amazing contest!!! I adore Ruche!! My absolute favority lovely from the shop would have to be the Blue Baguio festival dress. It's absolutely exquisite. I have been eying it for so long now. All my friends seem to be getting married and I have a lot of weddings coming up to attend. I really want something that makes me feel good on the inside as well as look good on the outside, and this dress is most definitely it!!
    Thanks! Love this site!!!!

  2. Easy. Blue Baguio Festival Dress (and as I type this I'm reading the comment above mine. Haha, you have great taste, Desiree!)
Blue-Violet with Mustard Cream and Coral, it has the fun of 70s prints but reads much more elegant. The shell looks so flattering. I would love to flounce about in it.

  3. I just found out about Ruche after reading about them on your site. I bookmarked the chiffon ribbon necklace as something I wanted to get for my birthday and quickly found that Anthropologie was selling it for much more! I think this would be such a special piece that would add elegance and romance to any outfit. Sometimes at work I'll go to the site just to look at it...would love to use the giftcard towards and early gift to myself!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. I already had my eye on the blue baguio festival dress and it has to be sign for me to buy if I get this gift certificate! I love the 70s quality to the pattern, the frilly arms. It's girly, but grown-up. I adore it.

  7. I love the simplicity of the lemon swiss drop shirt dress. It's a wonderfully happy shade of yellow that I think would brighten up a gray, rainy day perfectly.

  8. I love the anguilla long striped tunic. I have a tiny frame up top, so something that has a tailored look makes me look less childlike. Plus, I just love tiny stripes!!

Ruche has so many gorgeous pieces, it was hard to pick only one!

  9. I love the white waterflower shirt, that actually the model is wearing in the banner. I am a huge fan of the ruffle! And I like the darker floral colors in it, like the cobalt blue that I am currently taken with. Thanks for having this contest!

  10. What a cute shop and great prices. I would probably pick the purple legartera blouse. I like it because I love anything '70's boho. I'm a mix of boho and preppie, can that be possible?

  11. I love the embroidered tube dress she just posted this morning. The colors and pattern are so great!

  12. This was my first time visiting Ruche, and I was not disappointed. Great place for any vintage loving gals. It was definitely a nice, pocket friendly alternative to my beloved anthropologie. Anyway, the mint n chip flower skirt is to die for. This piece would make a great transition from my summer wardrobe to my fall favorites. It's funny - I've been following decor8 for a little while now, and the color scheme of this lovely skirt reminds me of her most recent "olive & just one room" post. Of course the tint/shade is reversed, leaving us with mint & plum, but still gorgeous nonetheless.

    Great blog!!!

  13. Ahh, I have been visiting Ruche for a while now..I love the Anacaona Aztec Chiffon Dress. It is a mix of awesomely bold magenta, coral, and turquoise on black. I have not seen a dress like this before and it is stunning and unique. I don't know if that belt is detachable..but if it was, I could have a lot of fun layering it over some other items.

  14. This summer, I set a goal of not buying a single piece of clothing. It's been absolutely killing me. So with trying to stick to my goal, I went to the jewelry sections... AND OH MY GOSH! The earrings are especially darling. I just fell in love with the black boubou bird earrings the second I saw them.
I have really been loving birds lately. I have a tendency to stop whatever I'm doing to just watch them in the window. And when it rains, I want to let them in the house to keep dry. haha Birds have been my inspiration. I would feel so fortunate to have those boubou earrings. Thank you both for a shot at this beautiful gift.

  15. The website is amazing, but the jewel I most adore is the eventide flower crotchet and print dress. The cream and orange tones compliment each other beautifully. It just looks like the perfect dress to throw on and go with minimal effort to look good. I also think it would be very versatile and would work for both summer and fall. As a slightly lazy minimalist who likes to look good, this is the dress that I would treasure most.

  16. Wow what a fabulous giveaway!

I have been looking all over for a dress for an upcoming wedding and the Seagreen Romance Lace Dress is exactly what I had in mind but just could not find anywhere. The color and style are PERFECT and because its not strapless, chasing a 2 year old around is an acceptable activity!

  18. The Blue Baguio IS amazing, but my favorite is the Pasadena Rose Chiffon Dress. What's better than a a dress in the summer? It's light and feminine and pink, pink, pink. You can dress it up or dress it down. I love it! And I'm not the only one ... they've sold out in smaller sizes.

  19. Yay! I love this contest. My favorite is the mango lassi silk dress. Besides its awesome name, I really like the golden yellow and brown tones and I think the ribbon detail on the collar is adorable. I'm about to get engagement portraits done soon and we want a vintage vibe, so that dress would be absolutely perfect!

  20. I just discovered Ruche not too long ago, and absolutely adore it! My all time fave so far is the Blue Baguio Festival Dress. I love it because of the color combination, and the girly details without being overly girly. What I don't like is that my size is out of stock! Bah!

  21. oh, how i adore the honey bee collar dress. the yellow top has a lovely vintage feel to it, but the chocolate paper-bag skirt keeps it au courrant. the tiny pleating detail on the collar and little buttons down the back make it so unique. and i feel like i could take the black belt off and swap in one of my mother's old pieces to make it my own. i could wear to work, to brunch, heck, even to the grocery store. i'd definitely impress the cantaloupes :)

  22. I just barely found out about Ruche, and I am in LOVE! One of my favorite items is the bubble gum bamboo baby doll top (try saying that 10 times fast). I immediately fell in love with the color of this top, and I also love that it would work for a casual occasion like shopping or for a night on the town; it's totally versatile and eco-friendly! This is such a wonderful opportunity!! Thank you Vicki and Ruche for being creative, innovative, and inspirational!

  25. What an amazing shop! I can't believe I've never heard of it before, thanks for the introduction.

Picking a favorite was hard, everything is pretty amazing! But I was really drwan to the anacaona aztec dress. The colors are really rich and vibrant, the cut looks really flattering and best of all, as luck would have it, it still is available in my size (L). It's like it's meant to be...
