Colorful Home by Homebug!

Colorful home images by Homebug

Welcome to a new week. :) Did you have a relaxing weekend? Ours was pretty uneventful but just what I needed: Sunshine, books, sketching, and rest......oh, and lots of laundry!

O.k., on to the posts for today. It's always kind of a challenge to find the perfect home photos to show you on Mondays so I was happy when I came across the colorful home of designer/journalist Zita Spring from Dublin, Ireland. I love seeing inside the homes of people from other countries. They're usually so charming and definitely not lacking in COLOR. Zita lives in a 1930's home which she is currently renovating and logs the entire process on her website Homebug.net.

Is this a color scheme you can see in your home? If not, what are your color preferences? The colors in my home are a little more earthy....terracotta, seaglass green, cream/white, and expresso. We have a 1918 Craftsman Bungalow, and like Zita's, it's a work in progress. I'll be sure and post a few photos along the way. ;)

  1. I have a rather colorful house with a dark red livingroom, blue kitchen, yellow office, and green bedroom. I think these colors would work well, but I don't spend much on designing my house because I own four dogs and they seem to be able to wreck just about anything they touch. One day though!
