Virginie's Colorful Life

Gorgeous photo! I just want to step into it.

Virginie is great at styling and takes lots of photos of food...my kind of girl. ;)

Beautiful!

Mmmm.....yum. That's right, I haven't eaten breakfast yet!

One more photo I want to step into. Lovely!

ENJOY THIS INTERVIEW WITH VIRGINIE! I'm inspired by her story and hope you are, too. :) Please feel free to leave comments.....I'm sure she would appreciate it.

"My name is Virginie, i'm living in Paris for 9 years but i was born in Nice, on the French Riviera, a beautiful place. I have a very creative brother who is also my best friend, living in Amsterdam and working as a ad in an advertising agency. I have been working for 8 years as a PR manager in fashion and lifestyle, living a crazy life of stress and competition. In 2008, personal events, travels and meetings made me want to reach for more quality, more authenticity, more fun, more passion... I decided to live of my passion, PHOTOGRAPHY. I am passionate about food, nature designs, and obviously COLOR. I LOVE pop-art, logos, surrealism, fashion magazines, paintings, sunsets, art nouveau, night lights, packaging, flowers, short films, graffiti, fabrics, typos... learning, listening, sharing, cooking, growing.

When i turned 18, i was allowed to work and earn a little money. I had a job as a waitress in an ice cream shop in Nice. That's when i decided to buy myself my first camera, i wanted to take pictures of the ice creams and people eating them. I bought an authentic Canon EOS 500 with the money. That was 14 years ago...

I love taking pictures of little details of life; food, flowers, walls, furniture, details, doors and windows. Light is very important on the things i like to photographe. The light can change colors, perspectives, and bring MAGIC to the simplest things".

Thanks so much, Virginie. You're an inspiration!
