Many of the rooms have been painted several times as our desire for change or color evolves. The floors are a dusty miller grey, with exception of some of the bedroom floors. All of the original woodwork we've painted a buttery white. The largest and most central room of our home is the dining room/family room and it is painted a honeydew green that was inspired by some of my McCoy pottery collection. It's been a wonderful color to live with and is both neutral and harmonious. The living room is a pale yellow with lots of green in it and that is the only room with trim painted a sea glass or Coke bottle green. That room faces south and receives lots of bright light and that color changes with the angle of the sun. Our bedroom has marigold floors, pale, orangey white walls and has a warm yellow/orange ceiling. It's peaceful and warm and romantic. Other colors that we love to live with include warm rosy reds, coral, copper, peach, marigold, sea blues and greens, yellow greens, and sand. All reflect our love of nature, the sea and the garden outside our door.
