Color Inspiration - Vintage Library

Good morning! Is it too early to ask how your week is going? Mine has been fairly uneventful (other than some fun news I'll share another day). I've really been enjoying blogging lately and am especially excited about my upcoming creativity e-courses. Although it's pretty time-intensive to teach an e-course, the first session of Raining Umbrellas was so rewarding that I'm looking forward to doing it all over again. :)

How do you like the color scheme derived from the photo above? It's a little bold for me (very Mediterranean) but I would love to visit a home or resort decorated with these vibrant colors.

Is this a color scheme you could live with?

  1. For me, it would depend on the room. The melon orange, paired with chartreuse, is a color I will be using very soon for my kitchen. You nailed it when you said, Mediterranean. I though of Tuscany at first glance.

  2. I would love to have a color code organized bookshelf such as this...it's so beautiful! I'm hoping to take your e-course once I get the hang of having 4 children. Wish me luck. :)

  3. I love the colours, and that dress! I agree with Tiff, it totally depends on the room for me & what accents I want to put in it.

  4. I really prefer colours which are less bold, although I have to admit that because of all our books (M and I have a very extensive collection) there is some resemblance to our house ;-) There is a little chance that we're gonna live in the South of France for a while. If you want, I'll take you a lot of pictures in this colour scheme ;-)

  5. Elke, I'd love that! Since it will be a long time until I'm able to visit Europe, I'll live vicariously through photos. :)

Nice to see you, Kristi! How are things going with your new baby?

Thanks for your commments everyone. :)
